Put the sugar and water in a pot, boil them together. After they boil, take off the stove and leave to cool. Put the almonds in a bowl and pour warm water, wait for 5 minutes. Peel them and crush with a blender until they get as small as powder. After blending, pour the cool sugared water slowly, at the same time knead the mixture with your hands and shape it as you like. Place the pieces on a tray. In another pot, melt the chocolate in a double boiler. After melting, wait until the chocolate gets cooler. Pour your liquid chocolate onto the almond pieces (marzipans). Leave them into the fridge for a couple of hours. In this recipe, we recommend Elit milk and bitter chocolates.
